We conceived NerdyPerv after one too many nights of liquid courage and dirty talk that never went anywhere.  Totally the story of my life!  I grew up feeding my insatiable appetite for pop culture and sex and relationship advice by devouring copies of Cosmopolitan, Details, and Rolling Stone. I always said I had a part of my brain dedicated to useless information, which really should have housed important stuff like math and history.  By 14, I could put a condom on in eight different ways (and in four different languages).  Unfortunately, due to my less than stellar social skills, this talent was never actually practiced on any boys (cute or otherwise) for a long, long time.  I was the person all my friends turned to for the questions they didn’t want to ask their parents, even though I was never sure if it worked in reality.  I prided myself on being a goody-goody know-it-all, but I never quite got to the fun stuff.  And it didn’t help that I was kind of afraid of real boys, but still found time to have torrid love affairs with my imaginary boyfriends.  Ultimately, NerdyPerv is my way of giving back to all those geeks like me who had dirty, filthy minds, but never knew quite WHAT to do with them.

You’re probably asking yourself right about now why you should even bother coming back tomorrow.  Chances are you know one of the writers here, so you’re mostly visiting out of friendly obligation.  I’d like to point out that this website isn’t just about sex.  If that was what you were looking for, there are so many other sites out there with more naked girls and higher Google results than NerdyPerv.   Our mission is and will always be to provide people just like us a place where they can read about relationships, pop culture, technology, and most importantly, a place where sexy nerds can embrace their inner perv!!

So I am the “sexpert” in the corner.  I have studied and researched human sexuality since I was 13 and have never found anything that I am more passionate about.  Growing up with a European mother who cooked in nothing but an apron, an older sister who brought porn home and German magazines that didn’t hold back on explaining the birds and the bees, sex was never a mystery to me.  I loved learning more, experiencing things first hand and helping out friends with any questions that came along.

Before I knew it my personal life and studies revolved around not only my sexuality, but everyone’s around me!  I was asked to join NerdyPerv as the know-it-all.  I want to get the facts out there, demystify sex a little and make it a more accessible and approachable topic.  I hope to answer your questions, address common curiosities and open up the subject for discussion.  Embrace your sexuality and open yourself up to pleasure; as you will see, in some of my stories, I certainly do!
