In response to Chris’s zombie post Friday, I’m throwing my own trailer review out there. The trailer for Diablo Cody’s follow-up to “Juno,” “Jennifer’s Body,” was released today. Megan Fox plays her usual sultry yet mute self (ironic, since her characters speak less than she ever does in public. I would even venture to say she is over compensating for her lack of dialogue) as she devours high school boys, just in time for prom. Of course, putting Fox and Cody together is going to stir up some shit, they both are just SOOOOO edgy – if edgy means predictably shocking and ultimately boring, then yes.
But, I don’t need to be mean. Amanda Seyfried stars alongside Fox as the outsider and ultimate defender against the chowing down of all the boys in school. Will she and her best friend be able to stop Jennifer or will they also become parasitic snacks? We’ll just have to wait until September 18th, or whenever an illegal copy makes its way on to Bit Torrent – whichever comes first.
Megan Fox is really hot! I really adore her.
