In a nutshell, NerdyPerv is the home of sex and relationship advice and entertainment for the socially awkward, but still totally doable. In a larger respect, it’s a refuge for intelligent discussion of sex and sexuality, tempered with a good sense of humor and a love of all things naughty and taboo.

Our journalistic focus will be that of conveying information, be it statistics or a story. Our hope is to entertain, to demystify rarely discussed topics, and to open a smart, sometimes tongue-in-cheek dialogue.  Questions and comments between readers and the authors are strongly encouraged.

I grew up in the house that never talked about sex. It was taboo and distasteful to discuss. I remember once asking my mother about oral sex and she responded by telling me that the subject was inappropriate. It wasn’t until I became an adult that I realized that sex was something to celebrate. From that point on, I made it my personal mission to learn what I liked, try new things, and pass that knowledge on. Realizing that sometimes the unconventional or outrageous yields the best pleasure, I’ve learned to live outside the societal norms. I suppose you could go so far to say I’m try-sexual, I’ll try anything once.

This is the one place that I’ve been able to flaunt my “nerd” side and embrace my “perv” side.
